Wow. Trying to pick her best film? Tough order. I picked The Man... because she was just so fricken amazing singing in that last scene at the consulate or whatever it was.
Great tribute to a great singer/actress/animal welfare activist (founder of the Doris Day Animal League). I hope the lovely lady is enjoying a fabulous 87th birthday. My favorites of her films: "The Man Who Knew Too Much," "Young at Heart" and "The Thrill of it All"...
Love the new Doris page. She was a good dramatic actress and a fine singer. But I think her greatest talent was as a comedienne. Hence, my fave of her pictures is easily LOVER COME BACK.

I agree, Doris was exceptionally funny. She can make me laugh harder than anyone else in the funny business.
